Just like cops are required to say "anything you say can be used against you in the court of law", any communication platform without end-to-end encryption should permanently display a similar warning: "all information collected about you on this platform can be used against you by criminals and law enforcement."
I'm happy to see the large exodus from Twitter to the Fediverse, however I'm not sure it's going to solve the problem of censorship. Blocking individual Mastodon hosts will be easier than Twitter, not harder.
I'm hoping SSB and manyver.se will manage to provide the correct solution for fighting censorship online.
